Features and Benefits

The ETI Remote Communication Receiver (RCR™) is fully compatible with existing RMS systems. All existing transmitters and pick-up coils are compatible with the ETI RCR™. The ETI RCR™ is housed in a wall mountable 19-inch rack enclosure. Racks can be configured for 4 to 24 pick-up coils. Dual, redundant, hot swappable power supplies provide reliable system power. Ethernet and multiple serial interfaces are provided for interfacing with new or existing communications/SCADA systems via DNP3, ASCII, or other protocols.

• Receives data from primary feeder cable through non-contact antenna
• Modular design features modern microcomputer and industry standard back-plane
• Antennas are automatically tested from unit to insure proper operation. Includes local indication of antenna status
• Data from 4-Feeders can be received with each ETI Model 618041 card. Unit is scalable for up to 24 feeders
• Each of the 4 channels are fully independent and any of the four available frequencies can be on any feeder (45.5 kHz, 50 kHz, 55.5kHz and 62.5 kHz)
• Data is demodulated by Digital Signal Processors, which allow for easy reprogramming, and flexibility in design and feature enhancement
• Ethernet, Fiber-Optic cable, RS-232/RS -485 serial cable, and telephone modem
